History of WoofStock
WoofStock began as a fundraiser in 2009 to benefit the Little Elm Animal Shelter. Since then, the WoofStock festival has raised funds to rescue abandoned dogs before they are euthanized and give them a second chance at adoption. That is the mission of WoofStock, which was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2011. Currently, the space to house the dogs is donated by the Country Meadows Pet Inn. Because of the dedication of our volunteers and the support of our generous financial contributors, we are looking forward to building a larger facility, one which will allow us to expand our rescue efforts in Little Elm and surrounding communities in the metroplex.
